There has been discussion - mainly rumor - before on borer distribution. I
for one am keenly interested in hearing first hand reports of any actual,
verified iris borer found west of the Rockies, or south of the Mason Dixon.
I too have a suspicion that these nasty creatures are adapting and
spreading... and I believe that if this is true - if borer threaten the large
growers on the left coast - then we will see some significant control
research kick into gear.
I wonder too if borer has been found there and given some euphemistic
name.... like how they call cockroaches "palmetto bugs" in Florida.
