They are a problem some places in Tennessee.  Never have had them here,
to my knowledge, but folks in Knoxville, 50 miles north, have them.

minimum temperature barely grazed the single digits this winter, so
far.  But it has gotten down to minus 25oF once...hopefully, not again
in my lifetime.  +10oF seems to be a more typical minimum nowadays, tho
it used to be a rare winter we didn't hit close to zero or slightly
lower a time or two.
