minimum temperature barely grazed the single digits this winter, so
far. But it has gotten down to minus 25oF once...hopefully, not again
in my lifetime. +10oF seems to be a more typical minimum nowadays, tho
it used to be a rare winter we didn't hit close to zero or slightly
lower a time or two.
