Here it is, March already with the AIS convention one short month away and
the first ever HIPS convention shortly after that. I think that given those
two gigs and adding in the various summer regional meetings and moving
eventually to Australia and NZ, we could easily keep on the iris trail year
round.
ANYWAY....
For those e-mail folks attending the AIS Convention in Dallas:
I will be making up e-mail nametags so that we can all easily find each other
in the iris mosh pit. These are bright yellar laminated nametags with a
pinback optional (I'll give the pinback to you and you can either use it, or
slip your nametag into your official convention badge holder). The point is
this: IF you are going to Dallas and would like me to make you a nametag (no
charge), please send me a PRIVATE message with that request in the header
line and your full name, plus e-mail address. You name tag will be
available at registration on a separate table.
For those of you toying with the HIPS convention idea: I have finally gotten
our regional newsletter sent out with detailed information on the HIPS
Convention. I would be happy to send a copy to anyone who thinks they may
like to attend. Again..... send me a PRIVATE message please, state your
request and remember to include your FULL name, address and ZIP. I'll fire a
copy off directly. PLEASE NOTE; the lowest registration price is good only
till 3/15 so TIME'S A-WASTIN' (<-- as my hero, Yosemite Sam, is wont to say).
Remember... private messages only. I will be keeping a list of e-mail folks
as well for convention news - both cases.
