AR: arilbreds in bloom

From: "Donald Eaves" <donald@eastland.net>

Hello Folks,

The freeze missed! So I have been enjoying watching the
arilbreds continue to progress toward bloom. KIOSK and
DESERT DIAMOND, both Hager intros have been blooming
for three days. I especially like DD and it holds up well in
our wind. Today JEHOSAPHAT'S RELIANCE (McGrath '98)
bloomed. Doesn't quite match the description, but it didn't
open this afternoon, so maybe the colors will lighten more
toward the description.

I decided to run all that hay and ??? (I don't want to even know
what else) that has accumulated on my barn floor through the
leaf shredder. I think zoo and horse manure would have been
preferable :). The resulting bags look like good stuff, but I'm not
at all sure the process was worth going through. The barn is
neater though, relatively speaking.
