Spring has sprung. The daffodils and tulips are blooming all over
the place. The irises are growing great guns and I feel this years
bloom witl be beautiful. Tantrum has been in bloom over a week and
more buds ready to bloom. It is a very pretty yellow Standard with a
solid 1/2" oxblood border. Anyone grow this iris? Color Brite also
in bloom, along with buds on All American. It is nice having a few
bloom at a time so one can appreciate the beauty and form of an iris.
Nicholson's catalog came yesterday. Nice new color cover for 2000.
Great job Lorraine and Gordon.............and Lucy! If anyone here
in California is up in our neck of the woods, our irises love
visitors and enjoy showing off their beautiful mountain colors.
