I will give it a shot....

Plicata - an iris with a freckled or sanded pattern,
sometimes resembling stitching. sometimes on just the
rims of the petals and sometimes covering most of the
surface of the petals.

Luminata - an iris with a sanded pattern located in
the center of the petals. rims of petals, the veining
of the petals, and area around the beard tip is
usually unmarked or of white, yellow or pink ground
color. A negative version of a plicata (of sorts).

Glaciata - formerly call "ice" by the Sass Bros., an
iris usually from plicata breeding but shows no
markings what so ever, only ground color usually
white, yellow or pink. Glaciatas have no haft markings
at all.
