Thank you all for your very valuable information! Some orchids at here also
need chilling in winter to form flowers. One of them is in the genera of
cymbidium. It has gorgeous flowers but won't bloom again if not move them
into high mountain areas. There was an experiment that mulching these orchids
with ICE CUBES in the winter night and I am still waiting for the result of
this test :)
