Gwen - am so glad to see you have joined us. It is so normal for me to read
mail 2-3 days later, then respond "historically" speaking. Hope you like
the eGroup at ONElist as much as I have this last year. I will be anxiously
awaiting our next snail mail Historic Robin. I love both "electronic
robins" and the snail mails also. Just different advantages.

Hello, I'm Gwen Hazelton, new to iris-talk. I've been growing TBs for about
6 years now. Currently live in NW CT, but have done most of my gardening in
southern Maine. One of my long-term iris ambitions is to build display beds
illustrating the historical development of each TB color, pattern &
characteristic (e.g. lace). (I said long-term !) Suggestions for key
varieties that should be included in such beds are always welcome at
ghazelton@snet.net. Thanks.
