Ah my old friend soft rot... treatment: perfect drainage, air
circulation, dry air, some form of chlorine bleach (Clorox, Comet), sun,
low humidity, less rain.....switch to cultivars hybridized east of the
Mississippi & south of Kentucky <g> Build a big roof/tent over your
irises to keep off the rain? Probably a good idea to dip your scissors
in dilute Clorox between snips.
