Hello Folks,
Working on what I'll order this year and would like some input/observations
on the following. Thought some on the list might have good info:
ABBEY ROAD (Silverberg '94)
CRANBERRY CORDIAL (Moores '00)
Haven't seen either growing. What appeals on the first one is the
description 'cream" 'warm white'. Does this mean it veers toward ivory or
yellow rather than blue? I've been looking for one in those shades. I saw
several of Magee's in Dallas that came pretty close, but I would still have
had to call them yellow. Blue whites are easy to find, but the creamy
whites and chalk whites are somewhat more elusive. At least working from
descriptions as I usually do. What about Texas weather? Chances good?
On the second, it's described as a plicata. I've grown STOP THE MUSIC (past
tense, it didn't like Texas weather) and before I try it again this year,
how would this one compare. Plics aren't usually my very favorites, but I
did like what STM had to offer quite well. CC sounds like it might fit the
bill. Walter? Bragging rights are permitted in response.
