Lordy, Walter! I'm not sure it matters now what Dave may say. Anyone who
is old enough and rural enough to have been exposed to a cussed Jersey milk
cow who could turn into the equivalent of a granite statue set on in 30 foot
concrete pier when you wanted her to move from one spot to another; who
certainly knew the grass wasn't greener on the other side of the fence, just
found every hole in it so she could poke her head through and eventually
have one big enough for her body to follow so you had to chase her down
country roads in order for her to display her gift of doing the statue bit;
who could put the best circus performer wielding a whip to utter shame with
the accuracy and surprise she could demonstrate with the deadly placement of
her tail; who could kick you, the bucket or the stool from angles no
contortionist could have devised in their wildest fantasies with an element
of surprise the best general known to history would have envied, KNOWS the
reward for putting up with her contrariness is the thick cream that whips up
into a mouth-watering bit of fluff unknown off a grocery shelf or watched
that same cream turn from tiny golden flakes into a yellow clump of real
butter of varying shades of butter yellow, depending on how long you sat
there turning the churn crank that controls the whey content left in the
butter (effecting flavor, texture and color). If ABBEY ROAD is comparable
on the bloom, then I guess I'm going to put up with whatever contrariness it
offers and try.
Were you also a salesman in your previous life?
Whipped cream and Cranberry Cordial sounds like a treat to me. :) Thanks
for the feedback. Haven't seen TENNISON RIDGE, SPIKED PUNCH nor DRIFTING
CONFETTI blooming, so I appreciate knowing about them very much. Thanks.
Working from descriptions only is fun, but often leaves something to be
desired.
