Every now and then, I like to rummage around on Mike Lowe's World Iris
website to see if he has any new pix up. On the international side,
take a look at LANGPORT WARRIOR and LANGPORT MINSTREL (both Kelways
1995, England). wow. They have unknown parentage, but the spots look
like SDB spots. Anybody grow these here and having any success breeding
with them?
And for beginning hybridizers, there is a great close-up of a bearded
iris bloom with all the pertinent parts labeled, on the international
side, under Irises of Interest. Sure wish I'd had a photo that good
when I first tried to daub pollen!
