A lot of you have been most kind in giving us leads for iris gardens to
photograph. The time is drawing near for photographing dwarf iris in the
Northeast. We would like to visit gardens all over the country, however, we
do not have budget to travel about the country. My photographer colleague,
Harry Haralambou, will be going out to the Salem Oregon area to photograph
gardens. But we are primarily interested in the northeastern area of the US.
We do know about the Presby Gardens in Montclair, New Jersey and will visit
there at the proper time. If anyone knows of any iris gardens in the
Northeast or of gardens which contain a lot of iris, we would be most
grateful to hear about them for possible inclusion in the book. (Harry
Abrams is our publisher). Many thanks. Theodore James, jr.
