Ancient Post Office truck wisdom - send your iris seeds addressed to 
yourself, preferably with poor hand writing, or no stamp, so they take a 
long time to reach you. They don't take up any room in your fridge, and 
arrive pre-stratified, ready for planting.
(Here they would be well cooked!)
