Re: wyoming wild iris cultivation


I think I. missouriensis is the only native Wyoming iris.  We grow it 
successfully on the front range of Colorado by keeping it very wet from March 
through bloom time and then letting it stay dry.  This mimicks its mountain 
habitat where it thrives in areas of snow melt.
