Hi, Colleen, I have mixed feelings about Sterling Mistress. When it first opens in my garden it is a lovely pink on cream plicata with a remarkable glitter of gold dust on the falls. However the flowers are small and few, and the rhizomes tend to over-multiply, giving poor bloom if it is not divided yearly. I will keep mine because it was given to me by a friend, but I would not recommend it.
Francelle Edwards Glendale, AZ Kalifa's Robe, AB opened last night. WOW!
The R & I says this is a M-L bloomer. Here it was earlier than LADY FRIEND and usually got zapped by cold before it could bloom. It did perform well one year with a bud count of four per stalk. Individual blooms were nice. I no longer grow it.
