     Darn.   I didn't try Magnolia soulangiana in Lexington, KY because of 
that.  I have three of them here, one of which still has a few blooms.  We 
escaped the freeze again last night, and with warmer, and possibly wet 
weather expected the next few days, the Irises are back in their normal spot 
outside.
