It's happened to me before, coming home from the dry air of western US
to the soggy, moldy, humid southeast, so maybe the same happens to
rhizomes <g>.  Tho I didn't realize irises had sweat glands.....

This exchange over 'peanuts' and 'hockey pucks' really highlights the
difference in growing conditions in different climates - a reminder to
always add to your post what part of the world you are (trying) to grow
your hockey pucks or peanuts in, especially if it is a growing type
question.
