In one of the notes about Edith Wolford--it was suggested that she might do
better in colder climates--well--I am in a colder climate--about 9-10 inches
of white mulch out there, and temps down to -8 two nights ago--and believe
me--EW does not do better here!!! I finally took it out of my yard, planted
it in the club garden beside another EW plant, and neither does very
well--one bloom in 3 years--bloom short and way down in foliage--and I was
thinking--she would be a good warm weather grower--guess not--probably dig
and toss both of them this year!!!
