<Linda this just for Region 7? Mike Greenfield redear@infinet.com

Hi Mike - the short answer is yes, just Regions 7 & 24.
This is something that Judy and I thought about doing a couple of years
ago. Something we thought up on our own, not an official anything. I
include Region 24 with 7 because northern Mississippi's growing
conditions are more like mine & probably west Tennessee than
Kentucky's. Plus Walta is there & usually willing to share what he
knows. I'd love to hear from folks in North Georgia, too, but I figure
that has less relevance to the rest of Region 7, plus I don't think
there is anybody on the list from that region who talks much. The AM
winners seems like a good place to start. The last three years may be
too recent for many people to be growing them yet, but the list was on
the AIS website, so was handy to copy, edit, sort & throw out duplicates
(which raises another question - why are some listed as having gotten
the AM award in more than one year?) I figure out of the 700? or
however many subscribers we have now, maybe a few of them will respond.
So, why don't you try to do it for your region too?
