I am wondering if Mike S. has counted all of the buds on DOUBLE
SHOT. This one seems to be in bloom forever, and I thought with
its extra, heavy rebloom, there wouldn't be any left for this spring,
often the case with rebloomers. I checked on this yesterday, and I
have about eight or nine nice fans in the clump, so it doesn't have
to start all over again. DS is a very nice dark violet and white
plicata that has a bright future ahead. It's also smart enough to
chill a little while longer before it starts growing in the spring. Its
emerald foliage doesn't seem to have been affected by the deep
freeze blast two weeks ago.
I would be prejudiced if I reported on VIOLET SHIMMER.

that to the nuisance plant family. Scott's weed 'n' feed doesn't work
on it!)
