Donald,
I am so sorry you are having such sa bad time this year. That would be terribly frustarting. I am not aware of what scorch is. Is it something you get in the south or is it everywhere? The iris here are only at the most 6" tall. Tey are popping up like weeds though and it won't be long before bloomstalks will start to show. With the exception of the daffodils up against the south foundation of the house. The daffodils are not up far enough to show any color yet and some are just starting to show buds.

Last Easter I was at near peak bloom. Today, only ZWANENBURG has blooms.
It seems immune to late, hard freezes. This spring does not have an
