Such action is bizarre and incomprehensible to me. I can't see the gain for
withholding parentage, nor any gain or satisfaction in claiming someone's
work other than ones own. Undertaking such action should have a payoff of
some sort - like stealing for money - in order for it to make sense. So
what or where is the payoff on this? The obvious one would be recognition,
but it sounds if that was already in hand, so what other motivation would
there be?
Just curious.
