Most web-based e-mail entities have multiple 'source'
numbers...those are the numerical-soup numbers that are commonly
called 'internet headers' that i.d. each message. If your ISP
has
a built-in spam blocker, that can (but shouldn't) be a problem
if it doesn't recognize the numbers and blocks a lot of web
mail.

My ISP uses Postini to 'grab' the spam but all messages sent to
an individual's mailbox are held for a time (14 days) and I go
in every few days and clean house for my account.

I have never had one problem with Yahoo or Yahoo-groups. Of
course, I have a Mac which is Unix-based and my Mac knows better
than to fuss with me. :-)

Ellen (Mark, I have had Sibrob with archives for over five years
with no problems - I also have Mallorn keeping our Sibrob
archives)
