Your message did get through. Today, before a thunderstorm, I moved a
couple potted plants of Iris albicans in bloom into the garage to save the
blooms since Chuck Chapman was coming by.
It worked. I saved the blooms, and have since put the plants back where
they were, after I watered them with rainwater caught off the roof.
