Re: TB: REB: Reliable Gold Rebloomer

PURE AS GOLD has been a very good grower here too, but hasn't bloomed
spring or fall for me yet - it is sensitive to killing freezes & is too
early/late here. If they will be planted in an urban area, temperatures
might be moderated enough that it would do really well.

GOLD REPRISE lives for me, too (can we believe this - three golden
rebloomers that I haven't killed <yet>?) & I think even rebloomed once,
but isn't nearly as robust growing as the other two for me. With better
care it might do better, but I think it's one of Waltah's Texas bred
irises & might not be as reliable farther north?

<PURE AS GOLD (Maryott) is an extremely reliable rebloomer too. Bruce>

<I'd bet on GOLD REPRISE. Mass plantings with careless care
sound perfect. It even tries to rebloom here in
Texas
after extended droughts and no care and has
actually
succeeded in doing so, it's vigorous and has been a

reliable moderately heavy bloomer in the spring.
