I wondered the same thing. Last fall, I was convinced I was seeing
things, since it was only a very faint smudge on one leaf base, but this
spring, it's definitely there. I didn't remember hearing that others
were seeing PBF on it later. Maybe I shouldn't grow so much of this
cultivar - something is definitely 'harvesting' my memories :-(!
<I replied at the time that I thought it was not PBF. However later in
the
season it was distinctly PBF. I wonder if it is a
