Hey all you flattie fans.....
that online registry is a wonderfull thing, the search is SOOOO helpful. A
VERY big thank you to all y'all who are working on it.
drumroll please...
These are additional flatties NOT included in the list in the article in the
bulletin (Jan 03) by Clive Russel.
First, Dancing Twilight, who I mentioned in my last post on the subject has
provided what Clive said he couldn't find.... a flatty that produced
flatties. In fact the only offspring of DT to be introduced (remembering
that online is not exhaustive and complete, yet) are ALL flatties. And they
are...
Sunlight Serenade
Campus Dancer
Festive Dancer
In addition
King's Trophy &
Stormy Whirl
are both from King of Hearts
My notes are incomplete but I believe that all of the above are from
(Tuller, R) who is responsible for the aforementioned Dancing Twilight. He
also produced Gay Holiday, another flattie.
There are also Flat River, Calamity Jane and Can't Stop (SDB) although CS
form may not be stable.
And, possibly the most exciting (imho) because of what sounds like plicata
markings to me.
Pompon One
Pompon Two
siblings from Lilac Frost X Oriental Etching produced by (N. Rudolph, R 86)
Now, if I could request some clarification... Both
Purple Tulip and
Acadian White
use the word flat but in the context it's unclear whether they are
qualifying the color or the form. Does anybody know?
That's all for now.
