A new 6-fall tall bearded iris will be introduced in 2004 in time for the national convention in Visalia, CA. It is registered as New Perspective and won Best Seedling under the number 9701201 at the Walnut Creek iris show in 2002. It is 42 inches tall, is a blue violet self and flowers are about 10 inches in diameter. Often opens three or more flowers per stalk. In addition to 6 falls, it also has 6 styles. No anthers, but it does set seed. It has never produced a flower with even a hint of a standard. It is beautifully ruffled.
