Greetings from the country no one wants to hear from where everything (well,
almost everything) grows and grows--northern California.  I am a lurker
(sounds illegal).  I don't hybridize and am not a judge but belong to a club
in Region 14.  I have an interesting thought that I would like to get the
opinions of those "in the know".  At paint stores there is a computerized
system in which you can bring in fabric, wood etc and they can define the
color and match it with paint.  I wonder would there be anyway to modify
that to do colors on iris--sorta like the lab colorimiter--which
unfortunately only does translucent liquids--or did when I was last using
one in a lab.  Just an idea
