My guess is that the Novelty section would include Irises that are not
the typical Bearded form but are not Space Age either. One example of such
an Iris I can think of is SIX PACK. The typical bloom on SIX PACK has six
falls, six beards, and no standards. The appearance is similar to the bloom on a
Japanese Iris. If I am wrong, I hope someone can correct me.
