I think you are right Donald. As I recall didn't Mr. Pries reasons have
something to do with iris-talk being too boring and too provincial for
his tastes? It's been a while ago but I'd bet it would be in the
archives.  I agree with John in that these types of discussions would be
very interesting and more appropriate for iris-talk. I briefly read some
postings on iris photos regarding "non-performers" or was it "good
performers" and wished they could have been on iris-talk. Others must
have had similar thoughts....at least John Jones.

I agree wholeheartedly with John's request and with Cathy's email
statement....we should not change the nature and substance of either list
because one person might be too lazy to relocate to the appropriate list.
And maybe Mr. Pries just needs some time and help to learn the proper use
of our lists.
