Grape scent is very strong in some of the medium sized (in my yard they are
usually around 18 to 24 inches tall) I. pallida clones.  I don't know
Pacquita, does it have an I. pallida ancestry?

Most of the I. pallida In which I've noticed the strong scent are close to
blue in color, rich pigment but not what I'd call particularly light or
dark.  There is a very similar white one that produces the scent well if
the weather is cool.  Regrettably I don't know cultivar names, except for
'Odoratissima'.
