Re: CULT: inevitable March freeze


Well darn.. good news for Donald, Walter, Bill, and everybody in west
Tennessee; not so good for me, Neil, and Paul.  The latest maps show
that dratted cold at its worst right on top of us.  Forecast is now for
either low 20s or upper teens here tonight, depending on which
forecaster I listen to.  Looks like north Florida will probably get
frost too.

I guess I will be out struggling with plant bed covers today after all -
at least my seedlings, so I can hopefully see blooms on some of the
worst to get rid of them and make room for this year's <unique>
seedlings <g>.

Without cover, temps that low this late in the season will knock out
bloom here not only on the early TBs, but also most of the midseason.  

Wish I had a giant tent that would automatically deploy....
