     It briefly dipped to 32 F here yesterday morning, after being as high as 
88 F last Saturday, but that did not harm the blooms on Iris albicans.  But 
that darned wind is another matter.  Gusts to 50 MPH don't do the blooms any 
favors.  I hope that stuff slows down, because the Fringe Trees are starting to 
bloom out.
