I invite you to visit the new custom web site for Shepard Iris Garden. After 41 years of business, this will be the final year of operations for Don & Bobbie Shepard from Phoenix, Arizona.

The new site features the 2005 iris introductions of Don Shepard. There are fourteen new Tall Bearded iris offerings, three new Bordered Beard irises, and one new Arilbred. MARBLED SUNDAE is undoubtedly my favorite of the Tall Bearded described as very domed lavender pink with raspberry striations; standards are the same as stands; falls are the same lavender pink with darker and some wider raspberry marbling. No two blooms are patterned alike.

The Bordered Bearded that immediately caught my attention was ARIZONA COPPERHEAD that is a ruffled bright rust self with lighter rust blaze and dark golden orange beard.

Over 150 irises are featured in the general iris galleries. The majority of the gallery images expand to full screen when clicked. Shepard Iris Garden also offers a selection of daylilies.
