For a superior cold weather white I recommend my own Garden Bride. Form is nice but not exceptional. Superb branching and bud count. It's exceptional plus is its cold weather performance. Last year it won a Loomis award in the third year trials of TBs. It scored the necessary 80% and the next closest competitor has 65%. Many big name hybridizers had their plants there.
GB basically can't be killed or stopped from performing. I personnaly breed for exotic colours but I got tired of having all the modern whites die our either quickly or slowly over time so embarked on a project of producing hardy whites. I think I overshot a bit but that's a plus for colder climates.
As for rebloom my line of daylight independent SDB rebloomers can't be beat. They are based on Forever Blue and will rebloom in Canadian zone 3 which is colder then American rating. FB has rebloomed in Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg. Any colder then these places and you can't grow bearded iris.
I don't think that there is any hybridzer working in a colder climate then what I have here in Guelph Ontario with temperatures -36C more then a dozen times a year and no regular snow cover.
