Seed sprouting

Good morning folks: I didn't plant very many seeds last year and am getting
the kind of germination I can handle. I have about 100 PCNI seeds sprouted
and about 100 TB. To my surprise, an old container from the year before has
sprouted about 20 seeds. I use styro shipping containers and one has poked
itself through a drainage hole in the side about 2" below the soil line. I have no
idea what the parentage of this container is.
I got my first bloom from a 2003 seedling this morning. It is a bright rich
blue with yellow beards and 5 buds and about 5 purple based fans in the clump.
If it continues to increase and thrive I will probably keep it as my goal
nowadays is simply pretty iris that can take my Texas abuse.
