Re: HYB: goals


Neil, you probably don't want to be an inspiration in this particular
direction, but your health problems have really inspired me to work like
mad now, making way more crosses than I can possibly manage, speeding up
time to bloom as much as is within my erratic capability, planting more
irises than I want to keep up with/take care of, and working towards
being able to grow only a few plants in the future in some kind of low
input system (dirty perlite in pots?  chair accessible planters?).

Some day, we all will reach the point where we can't do this any more.
But I hope to be crawling out to work on at least one big pot or planter
of seedlings.
