That <was> my primary hybridizing goal! Searching for those slow to
start growing in response to warmer temperatures - and not finding as
many as I'd like. Thanks for reminding me :-( Gee, I guess I'm just no
longer in the right climate to work towards that goal <g>

Average last frost date used to be mid April here, but we've had light
frost as late as early May. Last year, last frost was sometime in
March. Sure makes for better iris bloom.
