Re: HYB: seed pots


Not enough space (or energy!) to lug 150 big pots in and out of the
house for extra chilling cycles or to speed spring growth, although I've
done that with about a dozen.  Sun porch is tiny.

I'll post a photo of some of the early transplants that I've kept under
covers outdoors.

Yes, fine roots are damaged and it does set them back, but they still
get off to an earlier start this way.  Like tomato plants started
indoors.
