REB: Season started in southern NM

One of our members just reported that Mariposa Skies just bloomed in Feb  27. 
   This is a little early even for us since the SDBs won't  start blooming 
for another week or two. The plant is surrounded on two sides by  the white wall 
of the house.  Half inch pink lava rocks are used as  mulch.  This seems to 
suggest that for  this rebloomer, temperature is the trigger that causes early  
bloom.
