Re: HYB: Looking for good parents


My climate is very different from yours, so my experience probably isn't much help, but for what it's worth:

Avalon Sunset - grows & blooms well, but not happy enough here to be fertile

Candy Clouds - not very happy here, but has produced viable pollen (first crop of babies hasn't bloomed yet)

Decadence - produced tons of what looked and felt like good pollen, but didn't get takes on anything, and you better believe I put its pollen on everything in bloom!

Ring Around Rosie - reliably blooms, even last year after the freeze. First crop of seedlings from pollen yet to bloom
