I forgot to mention the fungicide. It was Heritage (azoxystrobin). It is labelled as a broad spectrum fungicide for Daylily rust. I tried it to see if it would work on the Iris fungal leaf spot and it does. This is a good one to make part of a fungicide rotation and has a different mode of action that the others. It is transported to the newer foliage from the roots. So you can use it in combination with Daconil which is a contact fungicide or Bonomyl which will remain in the older leaves. This allows for the extended coverage over time against the fungus. I'll note using an ionic surfactant (such as Consan 20) will not work with this fungicide since it will make it clump and clog up your sprayer. Much like if you have used a ionic surfactant with the insecticide imadacloprid. Trust me... a complete mess. I got this fungicide off of eBay as well. It is expensive though. If you grow daylilies and have rust it would benefit you there as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE IRIS
