Re: Pacific Coast Iris etc.

jay - thanks again for the info. its kinda fun downloading messages at 4:30
or 5 am then seeing who has sent new ones by 5:30 when i send mine out.
bunch of early bird gardeners out there.

what a bunch of goofy people. i want a terra cotta garden geek with a iris-l
pin.

when is spring in california? i thought you were already having it, just to
make us feel bad. i am a block of ice - nice sunny spring day, with a 20 mph
north wind and highs in the 30's, but by golly i got my peas planted. and am
watching the wasting disease take over some of my new iris. what the heck IS
that anyway?

clarence - hmm. so the hillside wasn't enough you think to take care of the
drainage? if these babies need sterilized soil, they can just grow somewhere
other than at my house! what kind and how much fertilizer did you use and
when (other than the manure)?

louise - from your suggestions to robert in florida, it sounds like the same
type of conditions my siberians thrive in.
