:
:> Pardanthopsis dichotoma
This was once called Iris dichotoma...it's been in and out of the genus
in varying degrees several times. It has lavender butterfly-like flowers
on slender stems. Its main claim to fame these days is being one parent
of the "Candy Lily" (X Pandancanda norrisii), which is a cross between
P. dichotoma and the blackberry lily, Belamcanda chinensis. The candy
lilies are easy to grow from seed and have a wonderful color range.
