CLARENCE HAVE YOU EVER TRIED IRIS WATER ON YOUR SNOW CONES. I UNDERSTAND
MANY OF THE BROWN VARIETIES TASTE LIKE ROOTBEER.

I am not kidding-last year a lady came to our garden to buy iris who
collects the rainwater off the flowers and drinks it for healing purposes.
If she has not had rain she just sprinkles them first. Nobody out here had
ever heard of this before. What's the story?

We are still waiting for spring in California. After a warm spell some of
the iris bloomed early but the rain and cold has slowed everything down. I
talked to some of the convention gardens tonight and everything is looking
good.
