Good Morning everyone....My little Iris were coming up and then we had MORE
snow covering them up completely. Checked them last night and they had buds
forming even in the snow. I hope this weather doesn't discourage them from
coming back. This is I. danfordiaes 3rd summer here. Soil is volcanic rocks
in nature.
We are at 4200feet elevation and the coldest we have been this winter is 14 deg.
F. I had to spray with Hinder the last sunshiney day we had as the deer were
coming in and wanting to feed on my TB iris. Robins have arrived, can spring
be far behind? Cynthia
