I talked to the folks at Ensata Gardens.  I was told that there are some
being grown in Florida.  I bought a special from them just to try.  If they
don't grow as I suspect they may not, nothing ventured nothing gained.  But
if they do............

I'll put the I. evansias on my list to give a try.
