Yes, that was me.
Now I believe the saying in the movie "Field of Dreams" was this... build
it and they will come...

Well, I have already developed a prototype true relational database
based on the information in AIS iris checklists. Besides designing it I
have entered a small amount of data into it to check the functionality and
it is awesome, even in the prototype stage. It could truly be a powerful
tool with more data entry.
A LARGE task though to enter all the records of the past registrations
to make it complete. A project such as this would certainly have to be done in
segments to make it doable. Do you have any particular "wants" in the
fields that you think would be useful?
Currently the fields are: UNIQUE ID#, VARIETY NAME, CATEGORY NAME,
HYBRIDIZER NAME,INTRODUCTION DATE(YEAR),DESCRIPTION, GENEALOGY,NOTES AND
PHOTOGRAPH
Although not a great problem, I would also need to acquire a set of the
checklists with any errors previously noted, corrected. I might try and
do ayear or two to see how it works and get feedback from people(users)
these would likely be recent years compilations. Let me know what you think.
Got to go now.
